The Blue Puppy (Rec. for Kids 4 Years and Older)

Its so hard being the only blue puppy in the whole world, when all the other doggies are brown, black, red or even spotted. Its so hard to be blue when neither mom nor brother, or any other doggies along the way don’t have a single blue spot.

The blue puppy, ignored by his siblings and shooed away by his owner embarks on a journey to find someone who like him despite his unusual color. After a series of adventures he meets Jeff, a ginger sailor, for whom the blue puppie’s color is a source of pride. The two friends take off together on an ocean adventure but must contend with challenges from a huge fish and a black cat who had already made trouble for the blue puppy earlier.

The blue puppy is a story about friendship, finding your place in the world and the beauty of being different. It explains these basic life lessons in the simple language of children. Also worth a mention is the set, inspired by Joan Miró and produced by Lithuanian artists.
