Szczecin Magnolia


The center of Szczecin is currently a riot of pink, with magnolia blooming in Plac Lotników, Plac Grunwaldzki Jasne Błonia, and the Szczecin suburb of Pogodno.

After a hard and frosty start to April, magnolia started to bud in Szczecin around 22 April, and began to bloom on about the 26th.  If you would like to see magnolia in the parks of Szczecin in 2013, you had better hurry, because at the time of writing (5 May) they have already started shedding their leaves forming a carpet of pink beneath the trees.
